Events & Marketing Lead

The Events & Marketing Lead position is a full-time role that is Circle City Kombucha’s focal point for the coordination of the brand plan and the events program. The Events & Marketing Lead is a key member of the team that will build out the story & future of Circle City Kombucha.

Key Accountability:

The Event & Marketing Lead’s success is based on Event revenue & delivery of a brand plan which achieves overall company revenue goals.


The Event & Marketing Lead’s Responsibilities are as follows:

Events Management: Oversee the events program. This includes: scheduling events (Farmers Markets, Festivals, etc), preparing for events, and interfacing with various event leaders across the state to ensure flawless event execution.

Event Team Leadership: Lead the events team, which consists of 15+ part-time team members. You will ensure all members are trained and have the coaching they need to be successful. This includes recruiting & hiring of new Event Team members.

Marketing Plan: work directly with CCK’s marketing firm to ensure the marketing plan is implemented to drive optimal results. This includes: refining the internal brand strategy, executing advertising & promotion campaigns, public relations, social media, and other marketing outlets.

Administration: Partner with Operations, Distributon & Marketing to deliver a consistent message & product to the Market.

Market Influence: Build relationships with distribution partners, community leaders, media, and other influencers in the Market.


What are we looking for?

1) Strong organization & influencing skills. Experience in leading or coordinating team(s) is preferred.

2) Direct experience in applying creativity to deliver results. The Events & Marketing Leader will have to ‘think outside the box’ on a daily basis to achieve his or her goals.

3) Flexible weekly schedule. Many key Events occur on weekends (i.e. Farmers Markets) and the leader will be expected to attend and/or be ‘on call’ during these times.

4) Preferred (but not required): experience in building a brand plan or working with a Marketing partner to develop a marketing or brand plan.
